I often find blue eyeshadow quite difficult to work with, especially on skin tones similar to mine. So, this weekend I challenged myself to using blue and creating something wearable. I am very pleased with the end result, not only because I could now wear blue on my eyes but also because I used a palette that I’ve almost never used since purchasing it – The Urban Decay Vice 2 palette! I fell for the hype around this limited edition palette and ended up purchasing it but the colors (bare a few) never called out to me. So, it just sat in one corner of my makeup collection, completely ignored.. well, until now. Hoping to get more use out of this palette now. 🙂

So, it turns out my Flu ended up with giving me a ear infection! and that’s why I couldn’t hear a darn thing from my right ear for two weeks now. I’m on antibiotics to heal it but I still can’t hear much from my right ear. All this while I’m still recovering from the never ending flu symptoms. I’ve survived on crocin, lozenges, ear drops and cough syrups these past few weeks! I am much better than what I was a few weeks ago but you can still hear the congestion in my voice. So, I apologize for that. I hope to be fit soon and bring you more tutorials.
Anyway, here’s another Valentine’s day eye makeup for you all. This time around, it’s a wearable smokey eye and I’ve used all drugstore products for creating this look (except for the eye primer). I really hope you like it.
I so wanted to film another Valentine’s Day look for you all. But, unfortunately I am still down with flu and my right ear is blocked! So, I am unable to speak & hear properly. I am either too loud or too low in volume when I speak. Hopefully, I’ll be ok in the next few days. Fingers crossed on that! Another tutorial will be up soon after. Meanwhile, I have a MUG eyeshadow swatch video for you. Although most of the eyeshadows are great value for the price, a few eyeshadows are not so great (as you’ll see from the swatches – Boo Berry). Nevertheless, I have heard great things about their new foiled eyeshadows and can’t wait to try them!
