Here’s my first GRWM post! I usually don’t end up filming these since I am in a constant rush to get ready and leave. It’s very unusual for me to have hours to get ready. So, I have no idea how people film these! This weekend I went out with hubby and some friends to a local Blues live music restaurant/bar. The music was soothing and it’s always fun to watch people dance (when high on booze). 😉
Anyway, onto the makeup. I tried out a new foundation – Covergirl outlast stay fabulous foundation and I must say that I am impressed. It stayed put all night. It deserves a review of it’s own. I also used my IT cosmetics Naturally pretty palette to create quite a warm, neutral eye look.

I often find blue eyeshadow quite difficult to work with, especially on skin tones similar to mine. So, this weekend I challenged myself to using blue and creating something wearable. I am very pleased with the end result, not only because I could now wear blue on my eyes but also because I used a palette that I’ve almost never used since purchasing it – The Urban Decay Vice 2 palette! I fell for the hype around this limited edition palette and ended up purchasing it but the colors (bare a few) never called out to me. So, it just sat in one corner of my makeup collection, completely ignored.. well, until now. Hoping to get more use out of this palette now. 🙂
