Here’s the part of my Inglot haul featuring the Inglot 10 square eyeshadow palette, eyeshadows and nail enamels..
The 10-square eyeshadow palette retails for USD $16.00 and is held together by 4 strong magnets at each corner.. The palette slides open to display the colors and is very sturdy..
The individual shadows from the freedom system come in separate packaging and each eyeshadow square retails for USD $6.00 and features various textures..
- Matte: Without any shimmer.
- Pearl: These have a satin/shimmery finish.
- DS: Stands for Double Sparkle. These are satin (semi-matte) based shades with an added dose of fine glitter. The glitter doesn’t show up much on the skin.
- AMC: Stands for “advanced makeup component”. This collection is perspiration resistant, contains vitamin E, and is talc-free. These are either matte finish or matte with fine shimmer.
- AMC Shine: These are shimmery and metallic.
Here is how I arranged my picks:
L to R : Top Row # Shine 43, Shine 49, AMC 50, DS 611 and Matte 325.
Bottom Row # Pearl 423, Pearl 452, Pearl 421, Pearl 414 and Pearl 446.
This first palette has bright colors and mostly shimmery/frosty shades. I personally think the top 2 and bottom 3 shades make lovely Indian bridal colors.. Let me know your thoughts.. 🙂
The pigmentation on these shadows is just lovely.. They are extremely smooth to apply and highly pigmented eyeshadows.. Here are some swatches to prove it.. The swatches are in the same order as the eyeshadows in the palette..
In yellow light..
In day light..
My second palette has mostly neutral shades that I can wear everyday.. It has two of the Matte rainbow squares (112R and 120R).. These rainbow squares retail for USD $ 8.00 and contain three tones of the same color family – light, medium and dark for a complete eye look.. The formulation is the same as the individual eyeshadows..
L to R : Top Row # Pearl 402, Matte 357, Matte 335, Matte 329 and 112R.
Bottom Row # DS 609, Matte 326, AMC 55, AMC 63 and 120R.
These are probably one of the best eyeshadows I have tried in terms of texture and pigmentation.. A little goes a looong way… Time for some swatches :
In yellow light..
In Day light.. Notice the first color in 112R blends completely with my skintone.. This makes for a good nude color on my lids..
Overall, fantastic eyeshadows.. I would highly recommend them, esp over most high end brands.. These are soo worth every penny.. Again with these, I just saved a few of the plastic cases they come in and use it to carry one or two shades for touch ups or to amp up the look for evenings..
Inglot O2M Nail enamel # 668.. costs USD $14.00.. this line of nail enamels is supposed to allow exchange of moisture and oxygen between nail and atmosphere and prevents yellowing of nails.. Overall, great for nails especially if you like changing colors frequently.. 😉
Inglot Nail enamel in #57.. costs USD $10.00..
Here’s a picture with both nail enamels.. No base or top coat in these images.. The index and middle fingers have 2 coats on while the ring and the little finger have one coat each.. These nail enamels tend to build intensity with each added coat and are true to the color in the bottle..
