Here’s my review of the Nude’tude palette by the Balm.. I have had it for a while and can give an honest review about it.. Lets start with the packaging.. I always love a slim, sturdy packaging for eyeshadow palettes since its easier to travel with them… This palette fulfills that.. It comes with a decent sized mirror although I never use it.. its good to have the mirror in the palette for those rare events when we don’t have mirrors around us… like that even happens!! 😉
When you open the palette, you see images of 6 gorgeous, sexy women.. from blondes to red hair to brunettes.. all inclusive..
The eyeshadows are strategically placed (if u know what I mean).. 😉 The palette comes with 12 eyeshadows and a dual-ended eye brush.. I dont care much for the brush.. Its ok..
Top Row: L to R – Sassy, Stubborn, Selfish, Sophisticated, Sexy, Serious
Bottom Row: L to R – Snobby, Stand-offish, Sultry, Schitzo, Silly, Sleek
As expected from any eyeshadow by the Balm, these are buttery to feel and are highly pigmented.. They go on the eyelid like a dream and blend extremely well.. Most of the shadows are shimmery/satin like… not glittery.. So this might not work well for someone enjoying matte eyeshadows.. The colors in this palette remind me of the UD Naked original palette.. There is quite a bit of overlap between the 2 palettes (over 50-60%).. So, if you own the Naked palette, you might not want to get this..
Do any of you own this palette? What are your thoughts on it? I would love to hear back from you..
I was excited about the short week.. headed out with friends on 4th of July for some festivities.. Had a great time..
